ARA Car and Gold Seal Certification
Programs: Established
in 1994, the CAR program was created to produce a set of
standards for general business practices as well as environmental
and safety issues and to provide guidance for member facilities
in adhering to these standards. The ARA Gold Seal program, available

ensures excellence in customer satisfaction through improved
customer service, quality parts with accurate descriptions,
reliable on-time deliveries and written product warranties.
ARA Standards and Codes: The
ARA has created these standards as an inclusive, cooperative
effort between everyone interested in recycled automotive parts,
interchange standards, and recycling. The documents are available
for download at no charge.
ARA Government Affairs: ARA
is dedicated to protecting and promoting the automotive recycling
industry on Capitol Hill and in the regulatory agencies. Use
this directory to find recent bulletins that ARA has developed
regarding issues important to the industry.
